BmoreActivities is a free weekly list of the best things to do in Baltimore as an adult — live music, food and drink, nightlife, arts, outdoor, and more. We read across 60+ venues and the city's listings so you don't have to, and send the picks worth your time.
Is this for families?
No — this is the adult, 21+-leaning side of things. For kids and family events, that's our sibling site, Bmore Families. BmoreActivities is shows, dinners, breweries, openings, and nights out.
How much does it cost?
Completely free. No premium tier, no hidden cost.
How do you pick events?
An automated pipeline reads across 60+ venue calendars and the city's ticketing and listings every week. Six personas — arts, nightlife, outdoor, budget, planning, and solo — independently score every event. When several agree, that's a pick. One real Baltimorean reviews the list before it goes out.
Who are the six personas?
Culture Vulture (arts and shows), Social Connector (nightlife and the good hang), Active Explorer (outdoor and active), Budget Hacker (free and cheap), Plan-Ahead (tickets and sell-outs), and Single Adult (what's easy to do solo). Each reads every event; their agreement is the ranking.
When is the newsletter sent?
Once a week — the handful of things actually worth doing. The calendar on the website updates through the week as new events come in.
How do I get an event listed?
Email the details — name, date, venue, cost, and a link. If it's in Baltimore and fits the adult audience, it goes into the evaluation.
Is this run by AI or humans?
Both. AI handles the heavy lifting — reading the listings, deduplicating events, and running the six persona evaluations. A real Baltimorean reviews the final list each week.
How do I unsubscribe?
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click, no questions asked. We use Beehiiv for delivery, which handles unsubscribes instantly.
Do you sell my data?
No. We collect your email address to send the list. That's it. We don't sell, share, or trade subscriber data. See our privacy policy for full details.
Are events sponsored or paid placements?
No. The ranking is editorial, not sponsored. No venue or organizer pays for inclusion or placement. If that ever changes, we'll disclose it clearly.
